Create payroll entry

Timesheet-based Payroll

This guide is for creating payroll entries based on timesheets

  • Go to Payroll entry and click on "Add Payroll Entry" button on the top.
  • Set posting date (the last day of the month)
  • Set "Salary Slip Based on Timesheet" checkbox
  • "Payroll frequency" - Monthly
  • Start date and End date (check timesheets for this period)
  • Payroll payable account should be set automatically to "Payroll Payable - SMT"
  • Save
